A month from now, we are already building the massive CLASH ROYALE Arctic Open 2024 badminton event at the Vantaa Energia arena. At the end of last week, we received great news when BWF published the players registered for the competition. We can already say with certainty that the race will be even more intense than last year.

For example, the men's singles features 27 of the TOP 30 players in the world ranking! Even in the men's doubles, we will be spoiled for sure, because the world's top players are participating, all the TOP 3 pairs are coming.

As organizers, we get two wild cards into the competition every year. These have been awarded to recent EC-medalist Joakim Oldorff and Nella Nyqvist, who just won the Latvia International this weekend. The women's doubles schedule was a little short this year and there are only 29 pairs, and there is no qualifying at all. This means that the wonderful young Finns Oona Tapola and Sarah Asfar and Ellen Virta and Ria Tuominen will also participate directly in the main competition. Come and cheer on the Finnish players in the hall right from the start of the race!
