Badminton's CLASH ROYALE Arctic Open 2024 powered by YONEX culminated in the finals today. In mixed doubles we saw a China vs. China final where FENG Yan Zhe & HUANG Dong Ping won the three-set battle 21-18 6-21 21-15. The medals were handed out by Vantaa City Mayor Pekka Timonen.



In women's singles, Ratchanok Intanon from Thailand faced HAN Yue from China. HAN Yue won straight in two sets 21-10 21-13. The medals were distributed by Supercell's Head of Marketing Iwo Zakowski.

In Men's doubles we saw the only European pair in the finals when Kim Astrup & Anders Skaarup Rasmussen from Denmark met Goh Sze Fein & Nur Izzuddin from Malaysia. The three-way thriller offered the audience of the Vantaa Energia arena entertainment for all their money, the game ended with the Malaysian pair winning by 15-21 21-15 21-19. The medals were distributed by Benni Holst Andersen, Chairman of the Board of Yonex Scandinavia.

In women's doubles we saw LIU Sheng Shu & TAN Ning from China and Pearly TAN & THINAAH Muralitharan from Malaysia. The championship went to China with a score of 21-12 21-17. The medals were distributed by BWF council member Nora Perry.



The finals day culminated in the men's singles match between CHOU Tien Chen, from Chinese Taipei and Jonatan CHRISTIE from Indonesia. The victory went to CHOU Tien Chen, who became the crowd's favorite, 21-18 21-17. The medals were handed out by Johannes Jääskeläinen, hotelier from Skyline Airport hotel.
